The work of the 21st century requires a consistent and reliable information, according to the Department of Labor U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), more information is created, stored and distributed through channels computer. IT Director salary reflects only about 68 percent of total compensation. IT Director typically earn an average of an additional 10 percent salary bonus compensation. The rest of the IT director compensation is a form of company pension contributions, health and disability insurance, vacation and other paid leave.
